Privacy
This is a plain-language draft describing how SchedulifyAI is designed to work. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not final. Because many users are under 18, the final version must be reviewed for the laws that apply to children’s data before launch.
What we collect
Your account details (name and email), the academic information you choose to enter (grade, board, subjects, exam dates, availability, tasks, goals), the study sessions and quiz attempts you record, and any notes or files you upload.
What we don’t collect
SchedulifyAI never asks for your microphone or location. It only asks for the camera if you turn on a camera feature in the Focus Room (below).
Camera in the Focus Room (optional)
Two Focus Room features use your camera, and both are off until you turn them on: hand gestures (to change the sound, light, wallpaper or pause the timer) and the desk check (which notices when you’ve left your desk or turned away). The picture is read by a model running in your browser, on your device. It is never recorded, uploaded, sent to us or to anyone else, or kept. The only thing saved is a number: how many minutes you were away from your desk in each session, which you can see in your session history and which is deleted with the session. The camera turns off when you switch both features off, minimise or leave the room, or switch to another tab, and you can block it at any time in your browser’s site settings.
How AI features use your data
When you use the AI Coach, only the information needed for that request is sent to an AI model provider (currently through OpenRouter) via our server. Your API keys and other users’ data are never included. AI suggestions are proposals: nothing changes in your schedule until you confirm it.
What your browser stores
SchedulifyAI doesn’t use cookies. Your browser’s local storage keeps you signed in and remembers your theme, your place in setup, whether you’ve turned on browser alerts and which celebrations you’ve already seen. A few things are kept only until you close the tab, such as a minimised Focus Room and AI Coach suggestions you’ve already dealt with. Fonts and images are served from our own site, not from third parties.
Visit statistics
We count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics and measure page speed with Vercel Speed Insights. Neither uses cookies, identifies you or follows you across other sites, and neither sees what you write in the app. Addresses are sent without anything after a “?” or “#”.
Messages you send us
If you use the contact form, we keep your name, email and message so we can reply. They’re visible only to the SchedulifyAI team, and a copy is emailed to the team through our email provider, Resend. To stop spam we also keep a scrambled code made from your network address (never the address itself) for one hour, then delete it.
Who can see your data
Only you. Each record is tied to your account and protected by database-level access rules. Uploaded files are private by default. We don’t sell your data.
Your choices
You can edit your information, export it, or delete your account and its data from Settings.
